Miss Pakistan World touched its 15th International beauty pageant by sending Miss Pakistan World runner up 2, Nida Khan to compete in Germany and Austria for the Queen of the World 2007 beauty pageant.The doe-eyed beauty Nida Khan, at age 22, is excited since she recently won Miss Internet World Runner up 2 Asia title and brought the Miss Pakistan World pageant yet another international title. Standing 5 feet 8 inches tall this law student has steped into the world of beauty pageants when she won the runner up 2 title for the Miss Pakistan World pageant in June 2007. The winners of Queen of the World will be announced on December 15th, 2007. Till then the Miss Pakistan World organization have their fingers crossed. Sonia Ahmed, the President of Miss Pakistan World says, “I‘m so ecstatic that in just 5 years we have completed 15 international pageants. We have traveled to Malaysia, China, Korea, Philippines, Germany, Austria and soon London. This is not only a mark we have made for Pakistan in the beauty pageant industry but have made our presence felt internationally. We have won 6 international titles up till November 2007 and are keeping our fingers crossed, about getting more titles. I am very excited about our achievement and this has given me confidence in our winners of Miss Pakistan World pageant.”There are more international pageants being planned for the next year and in 2008 the Miss Pakistan World organization is looking to enter into more and more pageants.
Ahmed says, “The idea is to expand the Pakistani pageant industry as much as possible, as we are racing against time. We want to be everywhere and represent Pakistan as much as possible. Other winning countries have achieved this is 50 years time and we have still won about 6 international titles in just under 5 years. So now this has given us the confidence to get much deeper into the industry and make a name for ourselves. Our goal is to win and that is what we will always be aiming for.”
